Sunderland look to be in store for a busy final day of the summer transfer window.
The summer transfer window will slam shut at 11pm on August 30th. Before then, though, Sunderland look keen to do some final transfer business.
The Black Cats have been linked with a handful of names going into the final 24 hours of the summer transfer window.
Sunderland are set to sign Milan Aleksic from FC Radnicki, per reports, whilst Sunderland are in talks to sign Salis Abdul Samed from RC Lens.
Elsewhere, Kristjaan Speakman looks keen to add another striker to Regis Le Bris’ first-team squad before the summer is over.
Last week, the Black Cats announced the signing of Wilson Isidor on loan from Zenit, whilst Alexandre Mendy has made a final plea to Sunderland amid his ongoing Caen saga.
Sunderland have also lodged a bid for Tom Cannon at Leicester City, with the Black Cats reportedly putting £5million on the table for the Irishman.
Other teams are also keen on Canon, including Hull City, Norwich City, and Sheffield United.

Sunderland tipped to sign Tom Cannon from Leicester City ahead of deadline day
Sunderland were linked with Cannon last summer, though it was Leicester City who won the race for his signature.
The Foxes tabled an £8million bid for the former Everton man who went on to score twice in 13 Championship outings last season, owing to a back injury.
But pundit Carlton Palmer now believes that Sunderland will win the race for the 21-year-old’s signature.
He told Football League World: “I think it will be a fantastic move for the young player to go to Sunderland, but there’s going to be interest from a lot of clubs at the top of the league.
“Sheffield United, particularly I think, will make a move for Cannon, and it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up.
“Sunderland are in the position, having got the money in for Jack Clarke to be able to do a permanent deal.”

The advantage that Sunderland have in race to sign Tom Cannon
Cannon certainly seems like an exciting signing, and after the sale of Jack Clarke to Ipswich Town, it’s good to see the Sunderland owners putting some money back into the market.
And for Cannon, a move to Sunderland may be his most attractive option right now, given the potential for game time and the fact that so many young players have shone at the Stadium of Light.
Clarke is the perfect example of a youngster who was at a bit of a crossroads, but got back on his feet at Sunderland and has since moved to the Premier League.
If Sunderland win the race for Cannon then it’ll make for a very strong finish to the summer transfer window.
