Sunderland have set their sights on a possible loan deal on deadline day.
Sunderland have been involved in numerous transfer headlines in the build-up to deadline day, with Kristjaan Speakman keen to put the finishing touches on the summer.
So far, the Black Cats have signed five new players, plugging the striker void last week with the loan signing of Wilson Isidor from Zenit.
Another striker signing looks like the priority for Wearsiders, with Sunderland making a bid for Tom Cannon at Leicester City.
Foxes boss Steve Cooper has confirmed interest in Cannon but says that the Irishman will only leave on Leicester’s terms on deadline day.
Now, another new name is being linked with a move to the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland eyeing loan deal for PSG wantaway Ayman Kari
Reports in France claim that Sunderland are ‘actively working’ on a loan deal for PSG man Ayman Kari.
Le 10 Sport say that Kari, 19, wants to leave PSG after spending last season playing on loan for Lorient in Ligue 1, when Regis Le Bris was in charge.
Sunderland are keen on a loan deal for the central midfielder who sees his contract expire next summer, with the Black Cats already thought to be in ‘discussions’ over a possible loan deal.

Ayman Kari to Sunderland as Pierre Ekwah poised for deadline day exit
Kari’s inks to Sunderland come as Pierre Ekwah looks set to move the opposite way.
Ekwah is set to join St Etienne on an initial loan deal, with the Ligue 1 club having the option to buy the midfielder for £5.9million.
So Kari could replace that gap in the midfield, and with Le Bris having worked with him before, it could be a move that makes sense for both parties.
Although Le Bris is getting a tune out of this side, having someone in there who he’s worked with for a longer, and someone who he can trust, could be very useful.
