Sunderland vs Bristol City team news
Regis Le Bris can now call upon two key players who were not in the starting eleven against Stoke City at the weekend.
Dennis Cirkin, who played 11 minutes in Saturday’s match after returning from a wrist injury, and Chris Mepham, who was suspended for the last game, are both likely to start.
Jenson Seelt, Salis Abdul Samed, Ian Poveda and Ahmed Abdullahi are all set to return this month but the Bristol City game is probably too soon.
Niall Huggins, Alan Browne and Romaine Mundle will remain sidelined for a while longer.
