Sunderland fans could be mulling over a new face when the Black Cats head to Hull City this weekend.
Sunderland journey to the Humber this weekend, where they face Hull City in what is a 3pm kick-off on Sunday.
The game is the final one of round 10 of this season’s Championship campaign and so Regis Le Bris will watch over the rest of the weekend’s fixtures.
Sunderland may be expecting to lose their spot at the top of the Championship table come Sunday, too.
As things stand, just three points separate Sunderland in 1st and Watford in 6th, meaning that the Black Cats could be well off the top of the table come Sunday.
Hopes are high going into this weekend. EFL pundit Sam Parkin has predicted a Sunderland win at Hull City, with the Tigers having had a mixed season.
They’ve won three of their last four but didn’t win any of their opening five in the Championship this season.

Nick Barnes expects Aaron Connolly inclusion for Sunderland vs Hull City
And Hull fans might be just as eager as Sunderland fans to see Aaron Connolly in action this weekend, following the Irishman’s move to the Stadium of Light last month.
Speaking recently, Connolly discussed his personal issues over the last few years, with Sunderland fans massively supporting Connolly, and backing him to succeed with the club.
And Connolly has been prolific for Sunderland U21s too, netting twice in the midweek win over Huddersfield Town U21s.
Le Bris previously said that Connolly could make his Sunderland debut after this month’s international break.
And speaking on Total Sport, BBC pundit Nick Barnes has backed Le Bris to include Connolly in his matchday squad for the game at Hull City.
Barnes said of Connolly: “All looks promising. Let’s put it there at the moment. He should be involved at Hull, I think.”

Who else still needs to make their Sunderland debut
Connolly isn’t the only new signing on Wearside who is yet to make his debut for the club.
In fact, three of the club’s deadline day signings are yet to feature for the first-team, including Milan Aleksic, Ahmed Abdullahi, and Salis Abdul Samed.
Aleksic scored for Serbia U21s during this month’s internationals. Abdullahi is injured meanwhile and looks set to make his debut later this year, whilst Samed looks poised to feature in the coming fixtures.
After Hull City, Sunderland travel down to Luton Town on Wednesday night, before returning to Wearside to face Oxford United in what is a hectic six days for the Black Cats.
