Sunderland’s quest to sign a forward this summer has been well-documented.
Recent days have seen Tom Cannon linked with the Black Cats, meanwhile, Sunderland’s pursuit of Alexandre Mendy has also failed to come to fruition.
So with only hours of the window left to go, Regis Le Bris’ side have seemingly turned their attention to a new attacker, with Sunderland reportedly making a bid for Ahmed Abdullahi.
The Gent forward is relatively unknown outside of Belgium so Sunderland AFC News thought it would be worthwhile taking a closer look at Wearsider’s latest striker target.

The 20-year-old’s raw talent suggests this is a signing for the future and it could turn out to be yet another clever pickup by Kristjaan Speakman.
