Sunderland fans will remember this January transfer window for years to come, whether it leads to Premier League promotion or not.
The Black Cats made one of the biggest moves in the club’s history with the signing of Enzo Le Fee on loan (with an obligation to buy) from Roma.
The Wearside club also made Wilson Isidor’s stay permanent as he completed a £5 million switch from Zenit St. Petersburg and Jayden Danns arrived from Liverpool.
Of course, there were plenty of outgoings too, from Aaron Connolly’s free transfer to Millwall to Nazariy Rusyn’s exit to Hadjuk Split.
Tommy Watson’s proposed move to Brighton would have been by far the most significant but talks eventually broke down.
