Regis Le Bris may ring the changes as Sunderland are set for a trip to Norwich City.

Sunderland will face Norwich City on Tuesday night as Regis Le Bris’ side makes the 250-mile trip to Carrow Road.

There will be expectations that Sunderland will follow up their away victory against West Brom, and a win will help set the Black Cats up well for their likely play-off campaign next season.

Rigg has stated that the mentality of the Sunderland side is ‘unbelievable’, and that they are going into the tie against Norwich City with every ounce of confidence.

Because of the jam-packed schedule, with the trip to the Canaries falling shortly after the win on Saturday, it is expected that Le Bris will make changes to his winning outfit…

Sunderland injuries and absentees ahead of Norwich City clash

The main concern for Sunderland going into the clash will be the absence of Romaine Mundle, who suffered a hamstring injury in the win against the Baggies.

Sunderland were boosted, however, by the return of Enzo Le Fee against West Brom, and whilst he made a cameo from off-the-bench, he could be in contention for a start.

Black Cats centre-back Dan Ballard is yet to reach full fitness, whilst Ian Poveda and Salis Abdul Samed continue their spell on the sidelines.

Aji Alese is out for the season after a leg break, and Ahmed Abdullahi and Jayden Danns will be unavailable.

As a result, here is how Le Bris could line up his side on Saturday…

Regis Le Bris’ predicted side to take on Norwich City

Starting in goal, as ever, Anthony Patterson will be in-between the sticks for Sunderland, but the changes started with his backline. Whilst the back four of Alan Browne, Chris Mepham, Luke O’Nien, and Trai Hume has worked wonders in the past two games, the quick turnaround in fixtures could see Browne make way for Leo Hjelde, whilst Hume reverts back onto the right side.

As for the midfield, Dan Neil and Jobe Bellingham will unsurprisingly start, but Le Bris could look to bring in the ‘insane’ talent of Enzo Le Fee into the side from the start.

Going into the flanks, Le Bris will have a decision to make over replacing the injured Mundle, and that could see Eliezer Mayenda come in, which in-turn would see Wilson Isidor continue up top.

Here is the side that Le Bris could utilise away at Norwich City…
