Several players have notched spells at both Sunderland and Swansea City ahead of their weekend clash.
The Black Cats are currently gearing up to face off against Swansea City this weekend, a side in a somewhat upturn in form as of recent, notching seven points in their previous four Championship games.
Sunderland, who currently sit 4th in the Championship league table, will be hoping to improve on their recent performances, particularly away from home, which have seen Regis Le Bris’ side winless in their previous four away clashes, scoring just one goal in them games.
The two sides facing off have plenty of similarities in regards to players that have represented both, particularly in the 21st century, with some former key Sunderland aces having spent time in South Wales in their career.
Here are three of the players that have been to both Wearside and Swansea in their career…

Danny Graham
The now-retired attacker Danny Graham ended his 17-year long professional career at Sunderland after joining for the 2020/21 League One campaign, in which he was unable to find the back of the net in the league, but notched his one and only goal for the Black Cats in an EFL Trophy clash with Aston Villa.
Graham also represented the Black Cats in the Premier League in the 2012/13 campaign after two seasons with Swansea City, whilst also notching appearances in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.
In a total of 51 league appearances for Sunderland, Graham scored just one goal.

Ki Sung-Yeung
Former Swansea City and Sunderland midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung still fashions his trade in his long career, currently playing at-the-age-of-35 for FC Seoul.
Sung-Yeung spent just one season with Sunderland in the 2013/14 Premier League campaign, where he notched 27 appearances, bagging three goals and an assist.
The South Korean international was much more of a cult hero with the Swans, playing on 162 occasions for the South Welsh outfit, starting 105 Premier League games.

Fabio Borini
33-year-old Fabio Borini joins Sung-Yeung having carried on his career, with the Italian attacker currently fashioning his trade with Sampdoria in Serie B.
At Sunderland, Borini managed 93 appearances, including some memorable moments such as his goal in the 2-1 win at home to Newcastle United.
Borini’s spell at Swansea City was incredibly short-lived, having played just 12 CHampionship games for the Swans in the 2010/11 season, incredibly managing 10 goal contributions in 12 games.
