Sunderland take on Millwall at The Den on Saturday, as Regis Le Bris weighs up what will be many changes to his XI.
Before the November international break, Sunderland drew with Coventry City at the Stadium of Light in a game that gave Regis Le Bris a number of new player concerns.
Sunderland now have three players suspended for the game against Millwall this weekend, as well as two new injury concerns in Romaine Mundle and Alan Browne.
Right now, it looks as though Le Bris will have to field a very makeshift XI at The Den, with some lesser-seen faces likely to get a chance.
Sunderland remain in 1st place of the Championship table despite drawing their last three games. Millwall meanwhile are in 8th and have lost just one of their last 10 in the Championship, having beaten the likes of Burnley and Leeds United in recent weeks.

Sam Parkin shares Millwall vs Sunderland score prediction
There’s eight points currently standing between Sunderland and Millwall in the Championship table.
For the Black Cats, a win is needed to keep joint-leaders Sheffield United at bay, whilst the Lions can move into the top six with a win on Saturday.
But speaking on the Championship Check In podcast ahead of the weekend, EFL pundit Sam Parkin has predicted neither side a win, instead going for a 1-1 draw.
He said: “This could be all three scenarios (win, lose, or draw). I can’t go for one or the other so I’m going to have to sit on the fence, because I think Millwall’s form is incredible, and I think Sunderland are an excellent, excellent Championship side.”

Millwall vs Sunderland H2H
This game last season ended in a 1-1 draw at the start of December, with a Jack Clarke penalty rescuing a point late on, in what proved to be Tony Mowbray’s last game in charge.
The Black Cats then lost the reverse fixture 1-0 at the Stadium of Light. In fact, Sunderland have beaten Millwall just once in the last 20 years, albeit having played the Lions just six times.
Sunderland’s last win against Millwall was on Wearside in the 2022/23 Championship campaign, with the Black Cats winning 3-0 in the December of that season.
But Sunderland’s last win away at Millwall came way back in 1995. In September of the 1995/96 Division One season, the Black Cats won 2-1 at Millwall on their way to promotion to the Premier League.
