New Sunderland signing Enzo Le Fee has been handed a scathing report from a Championship expert.
The Black Cats were held to a 2-2 draw against an out-of-form Plymouth Argyle side at the Stadium of Light.
Overall, it was a performance that had very little to praise, as Sunderland’s defending was sub-par, with Chris Mepham at the centre of that, whilst Wilson Isidor found himself isolated up top.
The silver lining to the draw was that blockbuster signing Enzo Le Fee managed his home debut in front of a packed Stadium of Light crowd, where Regis Le Bris once again utilised him on the left flank.
There have been glimmers of positivity from the Frenchman, particularly with his range and quality of passing, but one Championship expert has been left disappointed with the new signing so far.

Championship expert delivers scathing report of Enzo Le Fee for Sunderland
Le Fee joined up on Wearside with the burden of expectation on his shoulders, with him being tipped as one of the greatest Championship signings.
The Black Cats man has shown doses of his ability that puts him head and shoulders above many players at this level, but Championship expert Ryan Dilks has been less than pleased with what he has seen of the Frenchman so far this season.
Per Second Tier Podcast on X, Dilks made his feelings known about the winger, as well as Le Bris, where he said: “Enzo Le Fee on the left wing, he’s had moments in these three games since he made his debut, but almost crowbarring him into the team on the left-hand side doesn’t seem to be working.
“We have to caveat it by saying he’s new to the league and hasn’t played many minutes this season but the other thing is, he looks gassed after playing an hour of every game, and I don’t know why Le Bris doesn’t take him off.”
Le Fee has now managed three appearances for Sunderland and is yet to notch a goal or assist.

Regis Le Bris must listen to fan and expert pleas over what to do with Enzo Le Fee
Bringing in players that offer versatility is certainly crucial, and it is great that Le Fee is able to offer exactly that, with him being handy amid the current lack of options on the left flank.
However, the new Sunderland man simply is wasted out wide and is not being utilised to the best of his abilities on the left flank.
Le Bris, more than anyone, will be aware of the qualities that Le Fee possesses, and that primarily involves his passing, both short and long. As a result, keeping him out wide wastes this attribute, especially when he doesn’t quite possess the lightning pace needed to make up for it.
