Black Cats star Jobe Bellingham has issued a message to Sunderland fans following the draw with Burnley.
Sunderland drew 0-0 on Friday evening against Scott Parker’s Burnley, in a game where the Black Cats will be feeling as if it was two points dropped at Turf Moor.

Despite the goalless scoreline, there was still plenty for Regis Le Bris’ side to take away from the tight contest, including Enzo Le Fee’s remarkable debut, who showed real class, even when playing out of position on the left flank.
It also showed that Sunderland have all the ability to match the heavy-hitters in the Championship, and this is something that Black Cats midfielder Jobe Bellingham certainly noticed after his recent message on social media.

Le Bris’ side have certainly been punching above their weight this season in regards to performing to a similar ability of the likes of Sheffield United, Leeds United and Burnley, with all three having sizeable advantages in regards to financial backing.

Burnley draw highlighted more positives ahead for Regis Le Bris
Whilst the main talking point of the game was Sunderland and Isidor’s inability to take advantage of either spot-kick, many will have taken away from the game the fact that Le Bris’ side were able to put a top side on the back foot on their travels.
Many have wondered just how tenable Sunderland’s promotion push is, and whether they will last throughout the 2024/25 Championship season, and whilst they couldn’t pick up all three points against the Clarets, it certainly proved that they are going to be in-and-around the promotion spots for the foreseeable future.
