Armstrong Oko-Flex has denied talk that he is on trial at Sunderland.
The winger took to Twitter to reveal he had swapped shirts with his former West Ham teammate, Ali Alese, and wouldn’t be joining the Black Cats.
EXWHUemployee reported earlier today that the 21-year-old was fighting for a permanent deal at Sunderland after he was spotted training in the red and white shirt.

Oko-Flex was released by West Ham this summer after failing to impress whilst on loan with Swansea City last season.
Fans were wondering whether Oko-Flex would become the Championship club’s third arrival formerly of West Ham. However, it now looks extremely unlikely.
The free agent tweeted: “Sunderland’s a great club but no I am not on trial there.
“It’s a shirt I swapped with my ex-teammate Alese. I was simply wearing it in off season training.”
Which free agents could Sunderland sign after Armstrong Oko-Flex denial?
While Sunderland won’t be signing Armstrong Oko-Flex on a free transfer, there are still plenty of options they could consider.

Tom Davies is currently on the hunt for a new club after turning down a contract extension with Everton, with Leeds Live mooting the midfielder for a possible switch to Elland Road following their relegation.
Former Leicester City man Nampalys Mandy is available, as well as Andre Ayew and Adam Forshaw.
Of course, Bradley Dack has also been released after he was previously linked with a move to Sunderland.
While there are plenty of talented players available for free, it seems unlikely that Sunderland will focus on the market as they look to instead bolster the squad with cheap, young players.
