Armstrong Oko-Flex has joined Sunderland on trial after he was released by West Ham.
That’s according to ExWHUemployee, who has reported that the Black Cats could sign the winger permanently if his trial is successful.
Oko-Flex spent time in Arsenal and Celtic’s academy before linking up with the Hammers in 2021.

The youngster made a huge impact on the U-23 side upon arrival as he netted 12 goals in 22 matches, before he went on to make his senior debut in the Europa Conference League last August.
However, the forward failed to impress as he was sent out on loan to Swansea City last season and he was later released by the London outfit upon his contract expiry.
Oko-Flex has now been spotted in a Sunderland shirt and is reportedly looking to prove his worth in order to secure a deal with the Championship club.
The 21-year-old would reunite with former teammates Pierre Ekwah and Ali Alese if he joins permanently.
Would Armstrong Oko-Flex be a good signing for Sunderland?
Given that Oko-Flex had very little first team experience with West Ham, it is hard to predict how he could perform under Tony Mowbray.

The winger failed to score or assist during his spell in Wales though he clearly has potential, with West Ham beating Newcastle United to his signature two years ago.
The youth star received plenty of praise from his former West Ham coach Dmitri Halajko after he joined the club.
Halajko told the club website: “Armstrong’s finishing is a real strong point of his. When he gets into the final third, he’s a very dangerous player.
“We’ve got confidence in him scoring goals and taking chances, without a shadow of a doubt – that’s what we brought him here to do.”
The Black Cats have enjoyed huge success signing West Ham’s youngsters with Ekwah and Alese and fans will unsurprisingly be confident they can leave the Irons regretting Oko-Flex’s exit too.
