Sunderland found their groove at the weekend with a 2-1 win over Stoke City, but they have to go again quickly as they face Bristol City on Tuesday night.
After a poor run of form, Regis Le Bris saw his Sunderland side get back to winning ways at the Stadium of Light on Saturday lunchtime.
The Black Cats had to recover from an early Stoke goal to claim the win, though, but it was Tommy Watson to the rescue with his first two goals for the club.
Now, Sunderland need to keep up the pressure at the top of the table and secure another win at home, this time against Bristol City.

Sunderland suspension and injury news ahead of Bristol City clash
There is actually plenty of good news for Sunderland going into the Bristol City match, as Chris Mepham is back from suspension after his red card against Sheffield United. The commanding centre-half missed the win over Stoke City.
Meanwhile, fans got to see Dennis Cirkin in action again at the weekend and it now seems the full-back is fully fit and ready to go after his wrist surgery.
The Sunderland injury list comprises of the familiar faces who have been on there long-term, with Jenson Seelt, Niall Huggins, Salis Abdul Samed, Alan Browne, and Ian Poveda.
Sunderland are still missing Romaine Mundle, too, and the winger is unlikely to play again in 2024.
Sunderland predicted XI vs Bristol City
Le Bris is expected to shuffle his defensive line with the return of Mepham and Cirkin, which means Dan Ballard may miss out after Luke O’Nien’s impressive display against Stoke at the weekend.
Aji Alese was our lowest-rated player for Sunderland against Stoke, and will more than likely drop out to make way for Cirkin.
We anticipate Le Bris will leave his midfield and attacking line unchanged, though. Patrick Roberts cemented his place in the starting XI with a strong showing at Stoke, putting his recent struggles behind him.
And, while Wilson Isidor was disappointing in the win over Stoke, the Sunderland manager is unlikely to drop him just yet, though Aaron Connolly will be waiting in the wings if he does make that call.
