Sunderland star Wilson Isidor has sent a message to the fans after the 0-0 draw vs Queens Park Rangers.

Sunderland were surprisingly held to a goalless draw against Queens Park Rangers, and it was the first time in the 2024/25 Championship season that Regis Le Bris have been unable to find the back of the net.

The Black Cats’ chances of coming away from London at the weekend with all three points were certainly hampered by the untimely red card handed to Jobe Bellingham in the 58th minute of time, and it meant that Le Bris’ side had to settle for a point.

Defensively, there was plenty to take from the game, with it being yet another clean sheet, with a solid showing from Dennis Cirkin being front and centre of that, but it was a slightly different outcome when looking at Sunderland’s attacking display.

One player that surprisingly struggled was Wilson Isidor, and he has since penned a message to Black Cats fans following the away draw.

Wilson Isidor sends message to Sunderland fans after draw

The French forward has been on top form for Sunderland this season, with him previously scoring two successive goals in as many games.

He was unfortunately unable to build on that in the draw against Queens Park Rangers, and he has since sent a message to Sunderland fans after his goalless performance.

Via Instagram, Isidor wrote: “A tough game but one more point. Let’s move forward.”

Sunderland will be hoping to respond to the surprise draw next time out against Preston, which is in the midst of a relatively straight forward run for the Black Cats.

Wilson Isidor will need to respond to difficult showing in upcoming games

As well as the upcoming game against Preston, Sunderland will follow that up with clashes against Coventry and Millwall, with all three games suggesting that the Black Cats should be nine points better off come the end of the 23rd November after all three have been played out.

Those three games should provide an opportunity for Le Bris’ side to notch points, but for Isidor to also respond to his fairly poor showing against Queens Park Rangers.

There will certainly be pressure for him to deliver and replicate what he showed against the likes of Hull City and Oxford United due to the return of Eliezer Mayenda from injury, as well as Aaron Connolly providing Le Bris an additional attacking option.

Le Bris and Sunderland fans will be hoping that it is merely just a blip for Isidor, and he will hopefully return to his top form next time out.
