Two more Premier League clubs have entered the race to sign 22-year-old Sunderland winger Jack Clarke.
According to Team Talk, Burnley remain interested in the winger after having multiple bids rejected for the former Leeds man during the summer.
Vincent Kompany’s side have been joined in the race by Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace – with Sunderland demanding a large sum for their ‘dazzling‘ winger.
However, another Premier League side may be the big winners should Clarke depart the Stadium of Light this January.

Clarke in demand once again
The Black Cats signed the 22-year-old on a permanent basis from Tottenham Hotspur back in July 2022, however, Spurs do retain a sell-on fee for his next transfer.
Although it hasn’t been disclosed, Team Talk believe that Ange Postecoglou’s side could have up to a 50% sell-on fee – meaning should Clarke be sold for the £20m that Sunderland are holding out for, Spurs will receive £10m from the deal.
22-year-old Clarke has scored seven times in 11 outings for Tony Mowbray’s side this season, winning September’s Player of the Month award.
He’s continued where he left off last season, with multiple Premier League sides circling for his signature.

Will Clarke stay or go?
After the start Clarke has made to the season, it looks increasingly difficult for Mowbray to keep hold of his star man.
The winger has two-and-a-half years left on his current deal, with the Black Cats in no rush to sell their top scorer.
Sunderland are holding out for £20 million for Clarke, a figure that could well be met by a Premier League side this winter.
