Regis Le Bris has confirmed that two outcasts are set to return to the Sunderland squad for their away clash against Millwall.
Sunderland will return to action on Saturday as they face a tricky tie away against Millwall.
Before the international break, Le Bris’ side drew three consecutive times which has seen their lead at the top of the Championship cut to just goal difference.
Therefore, a victory against Millwall could help regain momentum going into the festive period.
However, the club are going through a selection crisis with multiple players out for the clash.
Le Bris recently confirmed that both Romaine Mundle and Alan Browne are out after their injuries against Coventry.
Now, the manager is prepared to call upon on a Black Cats duo who have been out of the reckoning for much of this season.
Adil Aouchiche and Abdoullah Ba ‘ready for selection’ ahead of Millwall vs Sunderland

Two players who have had little game time this season are Adil Aouchiche and Abdoullah Ba.
The Sunderland duo have barely featured under Le Bris despite playing a big part in the previous campaign.
However, given the selection issues surrounding the club, the Sunderland manager has few options.
Both Ba and Aouchiche were rumoured to play a part vs Millwall and now Le Bris has confirmed that the duo are ‘ready for selection’.
“They are in the first-team group,” Le Bris stated. “They were a little bit far from the main selection, but they trained properly, they played good with the U21s, and their mindsets are very good.
“So they are ready to be selected.”
A big chance for Adil Aouchiche and Abdoullah Ba to impress vs Millwall

It is highly likely that the duo will both now play a part vs Millwall after Le Bris’ recent comments.
Whether they come off the bench or start is a different matter but it is a massive chance for them to prove themselves to Le Bris.
The youngsters clearly have potential but the question remains on whether they can fulfil this at the Stadium of Light.
With three consecutive draws putting a dent into Sunderland’s title hopes, now would be the perfect time for the duo to step up and prove themselves.
