Clarke has had a phenomenal campaign this season. So far, he has found the net 15 times as well as collecting four assists.
This has seen speculation arise about his future at the Stadium of Light, with many clubs interested in acquiring his services. Premier League clubs and European sides have looked at the attacker including Lazio.

Sunderland need to unleash talent

Mike Dodds has now taken over until the end of the season. However, on Saturday, he was not able to turn around the club’s fortunes as they lost 2-1 to Swansea.
Now, journalist Michael Graham has taken to X to call for Luis Hemir Semedo to start. The youngster has only started once for Sunderland, a 2-1 loss to Ipswich on the opening day.
