Sunderland winger Jack Clarke has given credit to his teammates for his own personal form after his impressive performance against Norwich City.
Clarke scored and assisted another in a 3-1 win, with his goal coming from the penalty spot. His assist was also lovely, gliding past a few players before putting it on a plate for Dan Neil to strike.
The win ended a losing run of three games, with the Black Cats now sat just outside the playoffs in seventh place by one point.
22-year-old thanks his teammates

Speaking to the Newcastle Chronicle after the game, Clarke was full of praise for his teammates.
“That’s due to the players I’m playing with and the system – I’ve got a lot of freedom when I’m playing and the team is creating a lot of chances. I’m managing to put a few away, which is credit to them [his teammates] and the work that the staff are doing as well.”
“Thankfully, I keep putting them away so I am happy about that but I’m sure that at some point somebody else might step forward and want to take one. At the minute, though, it’s me and I’m quite confident over the ball.”
Clarke adding more goals to his game
Clarke has been in the form of his life so far this season.
He is the top scorer in the Championship, with nine goals in 14 games, also getting an assist.
The 22-year-old made the move to the Stadium of Light on a permanent basis last summer from Tottenham for an undisclosed fee, having spent the second half of the season before on loan at the club.
He has already scored as many goals as he did last season, but he got 11 assists last season.
The former England under-20 international has clearly changed his game this season, doing a lot more at the forward end on the pitch.
If he carries on the way he is going, there is no reason why he can’t get at least twenty goals.
