Jobe Bellingham’s celebrations have certainly gained plenty of fans’ respect after the Sunderland win.
Sunderland managed to get back to winning ways against Swansea City after they turned round a two-goal deficit to beat Luke Williams’ side 3-2 on the road.
Regis Le Bris’ side were second best in the first half, but they really upped the gears in the second stanza, with a captain’s performance by Dan Neil leading them to a spectacular win, with goals from Dan Ballard and Jobe Bellingham also helping them along the way.
The goal scored from outside the box by Neil was the ultimate pendulum swing for the Black Cats and it led to Bellingham’s goal only two minutes after the restart.
The 19-year-old’s goal was met by sheer jubilation from the Sunderland players and fans alike, with Bellingham saying something in the aftermath of the finish that many will love.

If there were ever any doubts that Sunderland ace Bellingham isn’t still absolutely ecstatic to be playing on Wearside, his recent performance epitomised exactly what it means for him to wear the famous red & white.
Following his goal against Swansea City, he was seen pointing at his badge in front of the fans, where he then went on and said: “Up the f___ing Sunderland man”
“The f___ing best club in the world, man.”
It was the Sunderland ace’s third Championship goal of the 2024/25 campaign after previously notching finishes against both Derby County and Oxford United at home.

Jobe Bellingham enthusiasm could be indicator to future at the club
There is no doubt that Bellingham is more than sought after in regards to potential suitors, and there will be plenty of clubs hoping to snap up the wonderkid in January.
The Black Cats youngster will undoubtedly go on to play in the Premier League, and potentially even the Champions League, it is just a question of when.
However, the fact that Bellingham is showing so much passion for Sunderland, and covering every blade of grass to play for the badge, it is clear that he is more than content to stay at the club, at least until the end of the 2024/25 Championship campaign.
This will come as a sigh of relief for Sunderland fans whose sides’ promotion hopes would certainly be dampened if Bellingham did move on in the upcoming January transfer window.
