BBC pundit and former Sunderland ace Gary Bennett thinks one Black Cats man stole the show against Swansea City on Saturday.
Regis Le Bris and his Sunderland side answered a lot of their critics on Saturday, coming from two goals behind to win 3-2 away at Swansea City.
It was an awful first 20 minutes for the Black Cats. An error in judgement from Anthony Patterson allowed for the first, with Swansea’s Liam Cullen then scoring a stunning free-kick.
Dan Ballard scored Sunderland’s first and then the second half goals came from Dan Neil who impressed the Sunderland fans on the day, and then Jobe Bellingham.
On social media, Bellingham was receiving some very mixed reviews during the game against Swansea, before then scoring what proved to be the winning goal.
Gary Bennett though thinks Bellingham was in fine form in Wales.

Gary Bennett praise for Jobe Bellingham after Sunderland win at Swansea City
Speaking on BBC Radio Newcastle after the game, Bennett hailed the Sunderland midfield and then singled out Bellingham for praise too.
Chris Rigg shone for Sunderland against Swansea City and was arguably the Man of the Match along with Neil.
Bennett though thinks Bellingham was the star. He said of the 19-year-old: “Jobe Bellingham, excellent in the middle of the park today, and he got his goal.”
Bennett then went on to say: “He’s become a man over the last few months. We talked about how young he was but today in the middle of the park, I just thought he was outstanding.”

Sunderland would be ‘crazy’ to sell Jobe Bellingham in January
Ahead of the January transfer window, there’s a lot of talk about Bellingham’s future at the Stadium of Light.
Both Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid are keen on Bellingham who remains under contract at Sunderland until the summer of 2028.
Speaking recently Carlton Palmer said Sunderland should keep Bellingham beyond January and mount their promotion push.
He said: “If they get promotion, there’s no problem, he’d be happy to stay and play in the Premier League.
“I think offers will come in, Sunderland’s resolve will be tested in the January transfer window. But, like I said, they would be crazy to sell him in the January transfer window.”
Sunderland next play Norwich City on Wearside on Saturday.
