Sunderland travel to Pride Park for the next midweek fixture in the Championship, and Regis Le Bris’ men could climb the table with a win against Derby County.
Last time out for Sunderland, a goalless draw against fellow promotion chasers Burnley was enough to consolidate the Black Cats’ place in the title race, though Regis Le Bris’ men may be frustrated not to get more, especially given they missed two penalties.
With Sunderland still on track for promotion, and now unbeaten in their last three league games, a lot is riding on every game from here on out.
Next up is an away day at Derby County, a team sitting precariously above the drop zone in the Championship and without a win in four.
Here, we take a look at how to watch Derby vs Sunderland, when the game is taking place, and which players may be missing for both sides.

Derby vs Sunderland team news
The big concern for Sunderland going into this game will be over the fitness of Chris Mepham, who left the pitch in the 86th minute against Burnley, with what Le Bris suggested could be a ‘serious’ injury.
Aji Alese is also out long-term, while Tommy Watson and Romaine Mundle are roughly two weeks away from a return.
Sunderland will also be without Alan Browne and Ian Poveda, while Jenson Seelt has only just returned to training and is unlikely to be ready.
As for the Rams, Nat Phillips missed the defeat to Watford on Saturday and could be unavailable again on Tuesday. Ryan Nyambe is also a doubt, though he has recently returned to training after a serious knee injury.
Paul Warne does have a near-full squad, but David Ozoh is only just back in training after a hamstring injury, and new signing, Lars-Jorgen Salvesen may need more time to get up to fitness.
