Sunderland have declared an interest in Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
That’s according to Alan Nixon, who has reported that the Black Cats are eager to sign the Crystal Palace winger on loan.
Rak-Sakyi joined the Eagles from Chelsea in 2019 and enjoyed stellar form with their U-23 side that earned him two senior appearances in the Premier League during the 2021-22 campaign.

Eager to offer the ‘brilliant’ 20-year-old regular first team football, Rak-Sakyi was sent out on loan to Charlton Athletic last season. The youngster bagged 15 goals and provide nine assists in all competitions before he was named the club’s Player of the Season as they finished 10th in League One.
Rak-Sakyi could now be sent out on loan again, with a number of Championship clubs interested in his signature. Reports claim Hull City have already lodged a bid for the winger, while Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers have also been linked.
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi could be an exciting signing for Sunderland
The England U-20 international could offer competition for Jack Clarke and Patrick Roberts at the Stadium of Light, with the youngster very highly rated at his current club.

Isaac Lihadji’s exit has left the Black Cats light on the wings, while Jewison Bennette has since been linked with a loan move away.
Rak-Sakyi could prove to be a brilliant signing for Sunderland if they were to win the race, however the forward wouldn’t want to be a back-up to the current crop.
