Sunderland handed Will Still boost
Who will be the next Sunderland manager has been a topic that has been on every fan’s mind throughout the majority of 2024.
The Black Cats have been without a permanent boss in the dugout since February when Michael Beale was sacked. This resulted in Mike Dodds taking over until the end of the season, however, form has not improved at the Stadium of Light.
One of the most consistent names linked to the job is Will Still. The Englishman has been the manager of the French side since 2022 and is one of the favourites to take over.
Now the club has reportedly received a boost in their pursuit of the manager with Le10sport stating that the compensation fee for Still stands at €5million.

Jobe Bellingham update

On the opposite end of things, Sunderland will be in a massive fight to keep their star players this summer.
Multiple first-teamers have already been linked away from the club with it seeming inevitable that Jack Clarke departs over the next few months.
Now, the next name linked away is Jobe Bellingham with Spurs and Chelsea reportedly keen on the youngster.

Another manager fans would love to see come to the Stadium of Light this summer is Steve Cooper.
The former Nottingham Forest manager had become somewhat of an expert in the Championship over his career. He guided Swansea to the playoffs twice before finally reaching the Premier League with Forest.
Now, Sunderland’s chances of landing the Welshman have been revealed with expert Graeme Bailey believing that ‘he does not fit the wage structure’.
