Sunderland fans have reacted after their 2023/24 home kit was leaked.
Sunderland announced a five-year partnership with Hummel last month, sending fans crazy after the kit supplier’s previous success on Wearside.
To celebrate, Hummel then released a limited retro range that included their 1992 FA Cup Final walk-out jacket and the 1993-94 yellow third shirt – which sold out within hours.
Now that the campaign has ended, the Black Cats are eagerly awaiting their first Hummel kit release since 1993/94.
There has been plenty of images making the rounds on social media, and Sunderland Echo journalist James Copley has now reacted to one on X.

Sunderland fans were delighted by the news that Hummel would be returning as their kit supplier, and the reaction to the leaked kit is of similar excitement.
