Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that two Premier League clubs are keen on Sunderland man Jobe Bellingham, with one ‘in talks’.
Jobe Bellingham, brother of Real Madrid star Jude, reportedly piqued multiple top-tier clubs’ interest for his performances at Sunderland.
The 18-year-old joined Sunderland at the start of the 2023/24 season after making over 25 first-team appearances for boyhood club Birmingham City.
He has been an instant success for the Black Cats and played a part in all but one of their 46 Championship fixtures last season.
Used in a variety of positions in midfield and attack, Bellingham has proved his versatility and worth with seven goals and one assist in the league last season.
At such a young age, Bellingham has shown remarkable consistency in keeping his place in the team under multiple managers throughout what has been a tough season for his club.

Crystal Palace and Brentford eyeing Jobe Bellingham at Sunderland
Jobe has attracted many admirers early on in his career, much like his Galactico brother Jude, who is gearing up for a Champions League final on Saturday.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X, Crystal Palace are now ‘in talks’ to sign Bellingham, who only signed from Birmingham City last summer in a deal worth a reported £3million.
Elsewhere, journalist Jay Harris says that Brentford are also interested in Bellingham, mainly due to his versatility, being able to play in midfield or further up the pitch.
Romano calls it an ‘open race’ for Bellingham, who’s had links to the likes of Borussia Dortmund in the past few weeks too.
The Black Cats and owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus has a few players who he could cash in on this summer, with Jack Clarke and Anthony Patterson two players in transfer headlines right now.

Why Jobe Bellingham could be tempted by Crystal Palace
Glasner has transformed Palace since taking over from Roy Hodgson. He won seven of his 13 Premier League matches in charge last season which catapulted the club from 15th place to finishing the season in a respectable 10th.
Former EFL stars Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise, and Adam Wharton have all starred for the club in emphatic 4-0 and 5-0 wins against Manchester United and Aston Villa respectively.
Highly-rated Wharton joined the club from Blackburn in the January transfer window and has been able to nail down a starting spot and get a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s provisional 33-man England ahead of the upcoming Euro 2024.
Bellingham could be the next young talent to thrive in South London for a club known for developing exciting young talent.
So for Sunderland, emerging interest from Palace could be very worrying, as the Black Cats will be fearful of losing too many players this summer.
