Player reaction to Michael Beale’s departure
Beale left Sunderland on Monday no sooner than he arrived. The manager was only appointed in December. Yet, 12 games later he found himself out of the door admin an inconsistent run of form.
This run reportedly lost Beale the dressing room after a key incident which only accelerated his downfall at the Stadium of Light.
However, after his dismissal, many players were disappointed to see the man depart Sunderland after such a short time at the club.

Paul Merson’s verdict on Michael Beale

Beale has now had a tough time in the managerial department. Since leaving QPR last season, he has now been sacked from both Rangers and Sunderland in a short space of time.
Many Black Cats fans will be happy to see him gone after he failed to win them over during his time at the club. However, Merson has offered a more positive verdict to Beale after his departure.

New manager linked with Sunderland job

Multiple managers have been linked to the vacancy at Sunderland. The club have expressed their desire to keep Mike Dodds in charge until the end of the season.
However, this has not stopped managers from being linked with the role with Marek Papszun being the latest. The Polish man has won plenty of trophies in Europe and could well be Sunderland’s new manager come the summer.
