Sunderland’s young talent Jobe Bellingham heaped with praise by his brother Jude Bellingham.
Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris finally managed to find out the future of star player Jobe Bellingham’s future, with the 18-year-old set to stay at the Stadium of Light for the upcoming season.
The news comes after Sunderland were bombarded with bids by Premier League club Crystal Palace, however the versatile forward has now opted to help the Black Cats ahead of the 2024/25 Championship campaign.
This season-changing news coming out of Wearside may be enough to potentially divert future Premier League bids for their stars, as Sunderland try to keep hold of the likes of Anthony Patterson by bringing in Simon Moore in a mentoring role for the young goalkeeper.
Whatever the future of Patterson, or Jack Clarke, the brightest prospect in their side, Bellingham, will play at the Stadium of Light, and he is someone that has gained plaudits from his brother Jude.

Jobe Bellingham labelled by Jude Bellingham as ‘having a really good mentality’
Sunderland’s Bellingham has been praised by his brother Jude ahead of his Euro 2024 Final.
The Real Madrid star said on the England Youtube: “I think my brother [is my biggest fan] yeah I think I’m his and he’s mine so I think it’s that simple really.
“Before every game I always have a message from him, and every game he plays I always make sure I message him.
“We couldn’t couldn’t be closer really.
“He has a really good mentality, thinks like me, he’s a really good young player um so I get a lot from him as well you know.”
Both Bellingham brothers started their professional careers at Birmingham City, before forging their career elsewhere.

Jobe Bellingham’s mentality shows age is just a number for Sunderland ace
Bellingham was continuously called upon to lead the line for the Black Cats last season.
The campaign ended in an unsatisfactory state as Michael Beale and Mike Dodds contributed to Sunderland finishing in a lowly 16th position.
However, one of the few positives that came up throughout the 2024/25 Championship campaign was the development of Bellingham, who, despite playing out of position, was able to provide a significant impact.
Sunderland’s issues last season are summed up by them placing a lot of pressure on the 18-year-old, like the rest of their squad who often struggled without a leader, however Bellingham’s ‘mentality’ was able to push him through and reach high levels, despite the team around him struggling for form.
Bellingham’s maturity is certainly one to be admired, especially after committing to a side who struggled last season. The appointment of Le Bris and the positive impact the French will have on the youthful side has made the youngster realise that a further year in the Championship with Sunderland will benefit his development massively.
