Sunderland continued their top form as they beat Blackburn 3-1 last night at E-Wood Park, with Jack Clarke particularly impressive.
The win was enough to see Sunderland move into fourth place, jumping over teams like Norwich.
It was a win which really established the Black Cats as potential play-off contenders.
The three points came despite what was a sub-par performance as Blackburn probably find themselves disappointed not to have picked up the three points.
Sunderland success was driven by one man in particular who had an incredible game, Jack Clarke.

Jack Clarke impressive
Jack Clarke was the player of the match as he almost single handedly won Sunderland all three points.
Achieving a FotMob rating of 9.4, he was far and away the top performer.
Two goals scored ultimately were the main takeaways from the game as without them, Sunderland probably lose.
But he had an even better game than just goals, he won the penalty that he converted which in ways is a pre-assist.
He created three chances for his teammates which were not scored and completed six dribbles.
Three passes into the final third were joined by a 100% crossing accuracy.
Defensively he was immense too, winning two tackles along with seven defensive actions.
Even more impressive he won 15 duels in the game which demonstrated his all round top performance.
